Passenger Air Bag Module: Installation

- Position the passenger air bag module into the instrument panel (I/P). Install the passenger air bag module retaining nuts and bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Install the passenger air bag module door.
- Align the passenger air bag module door and push in seating the 6 retaining clips.
- Connect the passenger air bag module electrical connector.
- Close the glove compartment.
- Repower the system. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING .
NOTE:
During air bag module installation, make sure all the deployment door clips are fully seated into the I/P.
