SYMPTOM CHART

Condition Possible Sources Action
  • The fog lamps are inoperative
  • Fuse
  • Circuitry
  • Headlamp switch
  • Central junction box (CJB)
  • The individual fog lamp is inoperative
  • Circuitry
  • MEASURE the resistance between the inoperative fog lamp connector pin 1, circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground.
    • If the resistance is less than 5 ohms, REPAIR circuit 478 (TN/OG). TEST the system for normal operation.
    • If the resistance is not less than 5 ohms, REPAIR circuit 57 (BK). TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The fog lamps are on continuously
  • Circuitry
  • Headlamp switch
  • CJB
