Inspection and Verification

  1. Verify the customer concern.
  2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage.
    VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

    Electrical
    • Battery junction box (BJB) fuse 13 (15A) (DRL resistor)
    • Central junction box (CJB) fuse 27 (15A) (DRL relays)
    • Circuitry
    • Daytime running lamps (DRL) relays
    • DRL resistor
    NOTE: Make sure the manual operation of the headlamps operates correctly. If the manual operation of the headlamps does not operate correctly, refer to HEADLAMPS .
  3. If the fault is not visually evident, verify the symptom. GO to SYMPTOM CHART .
