Removal and Installation

- Disconnect the fluid level sensor connector.
- If equipped, disconnect the brake pressure switch and the trailer brake control transducer electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the brake tube-to-master cylinder fittings.
- To install, tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft).
- Remove the brake master cylinder nuts and the brake master cylinder.
- To install, tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft).
- Remove the power steering tube bracket nuts and position the bracket aside.
- To install, tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft).
- Remove the brake master cylinder.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Bleed the brake system. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
