Anti-Lock Brake System Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)

NOTE: This procedure only needs to be carried out if a new anti-lock brake hydraulic control unit (HCU) has been installed or if air is suspected in the HCU.
  1. Carry out the brake system bleeding procedure. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING  in this section.
  2. Connect the diagnostic tool DCL cable adapter into the vehicle data link connector (DLC) under the dash and follow the diagnostic tool instructions.
  3. Repeat the brake system bleeding procedure. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING  in this section.
