Removal and Installation

    With power windows 

  1. Remove the window control switch. For additional information, refer to WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH .
  2. With manual windows 

  3. Remove the window regulator handle.
    1. Position the window regulator handle cover aside.
    2. Remove the window regulator handle retaining screw and the window regulator handle.

  4. All vehicles 

  5. Remove the door trim panel and watershield. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  6. Loosen the glass clamp nuts.
    • Temporarily install the window switch or window regulator handle, and lower the window to access the glass bracket nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).

  7. Remove the inner and outer beltline weatherstrips.

  8. Loosen the rear glass run bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).

  9. Remove the rear door window glass from the regulator channel by sliding the channel forward, then position the rear door window glass in the bottom of the door.
  10. Remove the window glass.
    • Remove the front edge of the window glass from the glass run.
    • Lift the window glass up through the beltline weatherstrip opening to remove from the door.
  11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
