Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor: Installation

    4x4 vehicles 

  1. Install the OSS sensor.
    1. Lubricate the O-ring with clean automatic transmission fluid and install the OSS sensor.
    2. Install the bolt.
      • Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

      3. 4x2 vehicles 

  2. Install the OSS sensor.
    1. Lubricate the O-ring with clean automatic transmission fluid and install the OSS sensor.
    2. Install the bolt.
      • Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

    3. All vehicles 

  3. Connect the OSS sensor electrical connector.
