Removal and Installation

- Remove the cooling fan shroud. For additional information, refer to COOLING FAN - BLADE, CLUTCH AND SHROUD, 5.4L, 6.8L .
- Disconnect the lower radiator coolant hose.
- Push the available special tool into the fitting to release the tube retaining clip and remove the transmission cooler tubes from the radiator.
- Remove the 4 bolts and the 2 radiator support brackets.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Remove the radiator and the radiator insulators.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
