Wheel and Tire - Dual Rear Wheel (DRW): Removal

- If equipped, remove the wheel cover.
- With the weight of the vehicle still on the tires, loosen the wheel nuts.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the wheel nuts.
- Remove the outer and inner wheel and tire assemblies.
WARNING:
Only use the correct wheel nut for the application. Incorrect nuts can come loose and result in wheel separation from vehicle and loss of vehicle control. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious injury to vehicle occupant(s).
CAUTION:
Do not use heat to loosen a seized wheel nut. Heat can damage the wheel and wheel bearings.
NOTE:
Do not remove the wheel nuts at this time.
NOTE:
On vehicles equipped with 19.5 inch and larger wheels, use Rotunda Heavy Duty Wheel Dolly 014-00030 or equivalent to aid in the remove of the wheel and tire assemblies.
