Driveshaft - Rear, One-Piece, Rear Wheel Drive (RWD): Installation

- Lubricate the slip-yoke spline with grease and position the slip yoke on the transmission output shaft.
- Position the driveshaft yoke on the transmission flange.
- Tighten to 111 Nm (82 lb-ft).
- Install the 2 new retainers and 4 new driveshaft-to-axle bolts.
- Tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
- Install the 4 new bolts.
- For automatic transmissions, tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
- For manual transmissions, tighten to 111 Nm (82 lb-ft).
