  • One or more module-controlled illumination source(s) is inoperative

  • The window control switch illumination is inoperative

  • VERIFY that the window control switch operates correctly.
    • If the window control switch operates correctly, INSTALL a new window control switch. REFER to GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS . TEST the system for normal operation.
    • If the window switch does not operate correctly, VERIFY that the smart junction box (SJB) fuse 15 (30A) is OK. If OK, REFER to GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS to diagnose the window switch.
  • The driver door lock control switch illumination is inoperative

  • Driver door lock control switch
  • VERIFY that the door lock control switch operates correctly.
  • The passenger door lock control switch illumination is inoperative
  • Fuse
  • Circuitry
  • Passenger door lock control switch
  • VERIFY that the door lock control switch operates correctly. If the passenger door lock switch operates correctly, MEASURE the voltage between the passenger door lock control switch C605-5, circuit 170 (RD/LB), harness side and ground, with the ignition switch in the ON position.
    • If the voltage is greater than 10 volts, INSTALL a new passenger door lock control switch. REFER to HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS . TEST the system for normal operation.
    • If the voltage is not greater than 10 volts, VERIFY that the smart junction box (SJB) fuse 15 (30A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The control illumination is inoperative/always on

  • INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The climate control panel illumination is inoperative

  • The audio system illumination is inoperative

  • The instrument panel illumination does not dim
