Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the 6 running board bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  3. Remove the running board.
  4. Remove the 6 running board support bracket bolts and the 3 running board support brackets.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
