Normal Operation

The headlamps on warning chime sounds when the driver door is opened with the ignition switch in the OFF position, the key not in the ignition switch, and the multifunction switch in the PARK or HEAD position. The smart junction box (SJB) then communicates to the instrument cluster that the exterior lamps are on. The autolamps feature must not be selected for the headlamp on reminder chime to operate.
