Removal and Installation

- Remove the rear wheel cylinder. For additional information, refer to WHEEL CYLINDER .
- Remove the jounce hose bracket bolt.
- To install, tighten to 17 Nm (13 lb-ft).
- Compress the parking brake cable conduit locking tabs and pull the parking brake cable assembly through the backing plate.
- Remove the rear wheel hub. For additional information, refer to REAR SUSPENSION .
- Remove the 4 backing plate bolts and the backing plate.
- To install, tighten to 85 Nm (63 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
