Subframe - Rear: Installation

- With an assistant, position the rear subframe and install the bolts.
- To install, tighten to:
- 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) for rearward bolts.
- 103 Nm (76 lb-ft) for forward bolts.
- To install, tighten to:
- Install a new exhaust hanger on the subframe.
- Position the 4 rear control arms into the subframe.
- Loosely install the bolts.
- Install the rear axle assembly. For additional information, refer to REAR DRIVE AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL .
- Tighten the 4 rear control arms bolts.
- Tighten to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).

The vehicle must be at ride height before tightening the bolts.
