Wheel Bearing: Installation

    All vehicles 

  1. Using the special tools, install a new wheel bearing into the wheel knuckle.

  2. Install the wheel bearing snap ring.
  3. Using the special tools, install the wheel hub into the wheel bearing.

  4. FWD vehicles 

  5. Install the brake disc or brake drum. For additional information, refer to REAR DISC BRAKE for disc brakes or DRUM BRAKE for drum brakes.
  6. Install the ABS wheel speed sensor ring.
  7. Install the wheel hub nut.
    • Tighten to 290 Nm (214 lb-ft).
  8. AWD vehicles 

  9. Install the wheel knuckle. For additional information, refer to WHEEL KNUCKLE .
