Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the stabilizer bar bushings. For additional information, refer to STABILIZER BAR BUSHING .
  2. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to WHEELS & TIRES .
    3. NOTE: Use the hex holding feature to prevent the ball stud from turning while removing or installing the stabilizer link nut.
  3. Remove the 2 lower stabilizer bar link nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
    4. NOTE: Access the stabilizer bar through the LH wheel opening.
  4. Remove the stabilizer bar.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
