Lower Arm: Removal

- For reference during the installation of the lower arm, measure the distance between the center of the wheel hub and the lip of the fender with the weight of the vehicle resting on the wheel and tire assemblies.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the lower ball joint pinch bolt nut and the pinch bolt.
- Separate the lower ball joint from the wheel knuckle.
- Remove the front lower arm bolt.
- Support the subframe.
- Remove the rear lower arm bolt and the lower arm.
NOTE:
The ride height is measured from the center of the halfshaft spindle to the edge of the fender.
