Removal and Installation

- Remove the rear bumper cover. For additional information, refer to BUMPER COVER - REAR .
- Remove the 4 rear bumper nuts (2 each side) and the rear bumper.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- If necessary, remove the 2 rear bumper cover brackets and rivets.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Use the special tool to install the new rivets.
