Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the floor console finish panel. For additional information, refer to CONSOLE FINISH PANEL - FLOOR .
  2. Remove the floor console storage bin and disconnect the power point electrical connector.
  3. Release and disconnect the electrical connector from the transmission selector lever assembly.
  4. Remove the 4 bolts and position the transmission range selector lever assembly aside.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft)
  5. Remove the 2 floor console bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in)
    6. NOTE: Slide the floor console rearward to remove.
  6. Position the transmission selector lever assembly aside and remove the floor console.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
