Rear Door Window Glass Adjustment

- Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
- Position the watershield aside.
- Connect the window control switch electrical connectors.
- Connect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
- Partially lower the door glass.
- Loosen the top regulator nuts a minimum of 3 full threads.
- Loosen the 2 rear door glass run bolts a minimum of 3 full threads.
- Cycle the glass to the full down position.
- Cycle the glass to the full up position.
- Inspect the window regulator stud location in the slots on the door inner sheet metal panel and make sure the regulator studs are located at the center of the slots.
- With the regulator studs at the center of the slots, tighten the rear door window regulator nuts to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- Tighten the rear door glass run channel bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Verify that the glass is in the correct position. For additional information, refer to WINDOW GLASS - REAR QUARTER .
- Cycle the window glass to verify the window functions correctly.
- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
- Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Disconnect the window control switch electrical connectors.
- Reposition the watershield.
- Install the rear door panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
