Power seats provide horizontal, vertical and tilt adjustments. System consists of seat control switches, seat motor/track assembly and necessary wiring. Seat control switches are mounted on side of seat trim panel. Horizontal movement is controlled by a lead screw and motor attached to movable section of track. Vertical operation energizes center and rear armatures, and vertical drive units move seat up or down. In tilt operation, armatures move front or rear vertical drive screws to adjust seat. Motor unit is serviced as an assembly.

The power lumbar system consists of an inflatable lumbar pad, lumbar motor and lumbar control switch. The lumbar control switch directs power to the lumbar motor which will either inflate or deflate the inflatable lumbar pad.

Temperature controlled seat system consist of a seat back Thermo-Electric Device (TED), seat temperature control/fan switch, temperature controlled seat module, seat fan motor, seat air filter and seat cushion TED. TEDs are capable of adding 122-140°F (40-60°C) or removing 46-50°F (8-10°C) from ambient air to seat cushion and seat back. If temperature reaches 158°F (70°C) or drops below 64°F (18°C) temperature controlled seat module shuts down TEDs. If overheated, seat fan remains on to cool down TEDs and turns completely off if temperature drops below 54°F (12°C). Memory system automatically positions driver's side seat, outside rear view mirrors and adjustable pedals to one of 3 programmable positions. Positions can be recalled by memory set switch located on driver's side door or remote entry transmitter. Power driver's side seat, adjustable pedals assembly and power outside rear view mirrors are controlled by Driver's Seat Module (DSM).
