Removal and Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis and 2006 Ford Crown Victoria. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Make sure the headlamp switch and the ignition switch are in the OFF position.

    Crown Victoria 

  1. Remove the 3 pin-type retainers and the radiator sight shield.

  2. Remove the 2 retainers and the headlamp assembly.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    3. Grand Marquis 

  3. Remove the side turn signal lamp. For additional information, refer to SIDE TURN SIGNAL LAMP .
  4. Remove the 3 bolts and the headlamp assembly.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

    5. All vehicles 

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • If necessary, adjust the headlamps. For additional information, refer to HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT .
