Crankshaft Rear Seal: Installation

    NOTE: Lubricate the inner lip of the crankshaft rear seal with engine oil.

  1. Use the special tools to install the crankshaft rear seal.
  2. Use the special tools to install the crankshaft oil slinger.

  3. Install the flexplate. For additional information, refer to FLEXPLATE .
    4. WARNING: If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM .
