Removal and Installation

CAUTION:
Suspension fasteners are critical parts because they effect performance of vital components and systems and their failure can result in major service expense. A new part with the same part number or an equivalent part must be installed, if installation is necessary. Do not use a part of lesser quality or substitute design. Torque values must be used as specified during reassembly to make sure of correct retention of these parts.
- Remove the air compressor. For additional information, refer to AIR SUSPENSION COMPRESSOR .
- Remove the air compressor drier.
- Remove the screw.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
- Rotate the air compressor drier 90 degrees to unlock then remove the air compressor drier.
- Remove the screw.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Inspect the O-ring for damage and install a new O-ring as necessary. Lubricate the solenoid seal area with grease.
NOTE:
When installing the air tubes, make sure the white tube is fully inserted into the fitting for correct installation.
NOTE:
Ride height adjustments must be carried out after the air compressor/drier is installed.
