Air Suspension Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis and 2006 Ford Crown Victoria. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: The air suspension switch must be turned to the OFF position when the vehicle is hoisted, jacked, towed, jump started or raised off the ground, to avoid unnecessary operation of the system and possible damage to the air suspension system components.

In the OFF position, the air suspension switch provides a signal to the air suspension module which, in turn, deactivates the system. In the ON position, the air suspension switch interrupts this signal to the air suspension module which, in turn, activates the system to maintain the vehicle height.
