Instrument Cluster: Notes

CAUTION: Instrument cluster is Hybrid Electronic Cluster (HEC). Passive anti-theft ignition key code is programmed into HEC. Vehicle will not start without proper code. Before replacing instrument cluster, it is necessary to upload HEC module configuration to New Generation Star (NGS) tester, or equivalent scan tool. Download configuration once new instrument cluster is installed. NGS tester will only retain information for 24 hours.
