Liquid Propane Gas (LPG)

NOTE:
Always use new copper washers on fuel and coolant lines. Leakage may occur if old washers are reused.
- Relieve LPG fuel pressure. See REMOVAL, OVERHAUL & INSTALLATION - F150 PICKUP - BI-FUEL article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Disconnect negative battery cable. Partially drain vehicle cooling system. Drain to a point lower than vehicle thermostat. Remove air cleaner outlet tube to throttle body.
- Unbolt 2 compuvalve main harness connector bolts and remove connector (bolts have an Allen-type head). Disconnect 2 electrical connectors that are attached to compuvalve. Disconnect ground wire at timing cover. Disconnect fuel line. Disconnect 2 coolant hoses. Disconnect vacuum line to compuvalve and set aside. Remove 3 bolts and remove compuvalve. To install, reverse removal procedure. Check for leaks in fuel system and coolant system after repair.
