DTC P1703: Brake Switch Out Of Self-Test Range

P1703 - BRAKE SWITCH OUT OF SELF-TEST RANGE

Description:	Indicates that during KOEO self-test, the BPP signal was high, or during KOER self-test, the BPP signal did not cycle high and low.
Possible Causes:	Open or short in the BPP circuit. Open or short in the stoplamp circuits. Malfunction in the module(s) connected to the BPP circuit. Damaged brake switch. Misadjusted brake switch.
Diagnostic Aids:	Check for proper function of the stoplamps. Follow the correct self-test procedures. Refer to QUICK TEST .
