Removal & Installation

Index mark the rear drive shaft on both sides of slip yoke boot. See Fig 1 . Cut and discard the drive shaft slip yoke boot clamps. Separate the drive shaft end. Remove and discard the damaged boot. Position the NEW clamp on the female end of the shaft. See Fig 2 .
Slide the NEW boot on the female shaft as shown. See Fig 3 . Position the second boot clamp on the male end of the shaft. Align the index marks and bleed air from the slip joint boot. See Fig 4 . Crimp the slip boot clamps with commercially available crimp pliers. See Fig 5 .
