Removal and Installation

- Remove the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft. For additional information, refer to WIPER MOUNTING ARM AND PIVOT SHAFT in this article.
- Rotate the wiper output arm to the 6 o'clock position.
- Remove the 2 lower bolts and the windshield wiper motor.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
To remove the lower wiper motor bolts, it is necessary to rotate the bottom of the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly upward.
