Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the luggage compartment lid trim panel.
  2. Disconnect the luggage compartment latch electrical connector.
  3. Remove the 3 luggage compartment lid latch bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  4. Position the luggage compartment lid latch aside.
    • When a new luggage compartment lid latch is installed, the latch adjustment must be checked to make sure the latch was installed correctly.
  5. Disconnect the luggage compartment lid actuating cable.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Lubricate the luggage compartment lid latch after it is installed.
