Removal and Installation

    All backrests 

  1. Remove the rear seat backrest. For additional information, refer to SEAT BACKREST - REAR  in this article.
  2. 60 percent backrest 

  3. Remove the backrest folding armrest.
  4. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook and loop strip, or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.
  5. Detach the 60 percent backrest J-strip and separate the backrest trim cover hook and loop fasteners.
  6. Remove and discard the hog rings and remove the 60 percent backrest trim cover.

  7. 40 percent backrest 

    CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook and loop strip, or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.
  8. Detach the 40 percent backrest J-strip and separate the backrest trim cover hook and loop fasteners.
  9. Remove and discard the hog rings and remove the 40 percent backrest trim cover.

  10. All backrests 

  11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
