Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear seat bolsters. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
  2. Position the rear quarter trim panels aside.
  3. Remove the rear passenger assist handles.
    CAUTION: Do Not excessively lower the rear portion of the headliner. This can create creases or kinks in the headliner.
  4. Position the headliner aside.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  6. Remove both the high-mounted stoplamp screws.
    • To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
  7. Remove the high-mounted stoplamp.
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
