Removal and Installation

    All Amplifiers 

  1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .

    2. Center Imaging Amplifier 

  2. Remove the driver cowl side trim panel.
  3. Remove the 2 center imaging amplifier nuts and the center imaging amplifier.
    • Disconnect the center imaging amplifier electrical connector.

    4. Audio Unit Amplifier 

  4. Remove the LH trunk trim panel.
  5. Remove the 3 audio amplifier screws and the audio amplifier and bracket.
    • Disconnect the audio amplifier electrical connectors.
    • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

    6. All Amplifiers 

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
