Removal and Installation

    RH ignition coils 

  1. Remove the upper intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .

    2. All ignition coils 

  2. Disconnect the 6 ignition coil electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the 6 ignition coil bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
    4. NOTE: When removing the ignition coils, a slight twisting motion will break the seal and ease removal.
  4. Remove the 6 ignition coils.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
