Removal and Installation

- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Disconnect the upper coolant bypass hose from the coolant outlet pipe and position aside.
- Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connector from the front fuel injector.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the coolant outlet pipe.
- Inspect the 2 coolant outlet pipe O-ring seals and install new seals if necessary.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
