Removal and Installation

- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Remove the LH cylinder head. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .
- Remove the 2 bolts and the coolant inlet pipe.
- Inspect the coolant inlet pipe O-ring and install a new O-ring if necessary.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
