Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the upper radiator sight shield.
  3. Install the special tools and support the engine.

  4. Remove the RH lower splash shield.
  5. Remove the RH engine mount upper nut.
    • To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
  6. Remove the 3 RH engine mount bracket bolts and detach the wiring retainer.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  7. Using the special tools, raise the engine and remove the RH engine mount bracket.
  8. Remove the lower nut and the RH engine mount.
    • To install, tighten to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
