Crankshaft Pulley: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
- Remove the front center splash shield.
- Using the special tool to hold the crankshaft pulley, remove and discard the bolt.
- Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft pulley.
CAUTION:
The special tool must grab the inside of the damper or damage to the damper can occur.
