Pinpoint Test B: NO POWER IN ACC

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
  1. B1 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH 
    • Carry out the Ignition Switch Component Test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING for component testing.
    • Is the ignition switch OK? 
    • Yes  : GO to  B2.
    • No  : INSTALL a new ignition switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. B2 CHECK CIRCUIT 30-BB20 (RD) FOR VOLTAGE 
    • Disconnect: Ignition Switch C250.
    • Measure the voltage between ignition switch C250-7, circuit 30-BB20 (RD), harness side and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    • Yes  : GO to  B3.
    • No  : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
  3. B3 CHECK CIRCUIT 75-DD1 (YE) 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: BJB C270a.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between the CJB C270a-15, circuit 75-DD1 (YE), harness side and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    • Yes  : GO to  B4.
    • No  : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
  4. B4 CHECK THE CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX (CJB) FUSE 13 (5A) 
    • CHECK the CJB fuse 13 (5A).
    • Is the fuse OK? 
    • Yes  : CHECK the instrument cluster for faults. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
    • No  : INSTALL a new fuse. TEST the system for normal operation.
