Removal and Installation

CAUTION:
While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power steering components can result.
- Using a suitable suction device, drain the fluid reservoir.
- Loosen the upper reservoir isolator bolt.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
- Loosen the lower reservoir isolator bolt.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Disconnect the cooler-to-reservoir return hose clamp and remove the hose.
- Disconnect the reservoir-to-pump supply hose clamp and remove the hose.
- Lift the fluid reservoir upward off the isolators.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
