Rear Disc Brake: Installation

  1. Clean any rust or debris from the brake disc and the wheel hub.
    • Use brake parts cleaner to clean the brake disc and hub surfaces.
  2. CAUTION: Do not allow the lubricant to make contact with the wheel studs, brake pads, or brake disc.
  3. Apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the hub flange.
  4. Position the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate assembly and install the 2 bolts.
    • Tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
  5. Test the brakes for normal operation.
