Pinpoint Test B: DTC B2358: ADJUSTABLE PEDAL SWITCH FAILURE

- B1 CHECK THE ADJUSTABLE PEDAL SWITCH REARWARD
- Disconnect: Adjustable Pedal Switch C2089.
- Press the adjustable pedal switch REARWARD and measure the resistance between the adjustable pedal switch C2089-3, circuit 32-AL19 (WH/GN), component side, and C2089-4, circuit 31-AL19A (BK/GN), component side.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
- Yes : GO to B2.
- No : INSTALL a new adjustable pedal switch. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
- B2 CHECK THE ADJUSTABLE PEDAL SWITCH FORWARD
- Press the adjustable pedal switch FORWARD and measure the resistance between the adjustable pedal switch C2089-7, circuit 34-AL19 (BU/BK), component side, and C2089-4, circuit 31-AL19A (BK/GN), component side.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
- Yes : GO to B3.
- No : INSTALL a new adjustable pedal switch. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
- B3 CHECK CIRCUIT 31-AL19A (BK/GN) FOR AN OPEN
- Measure the resistance between the adjustable pedal switch C2089-4, circuit 31-AL19A (BK/GN), harness side, and ground.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
- Yes : INSTALL a new adjustable pedal switch. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
- No : REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
