Wheel Studs: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Remove the rear brake disc. For additional information, refer to REAR DISC BRAKE .

NOTE: Cut off 1 inch of the stud to ease removal if necessary.

Using the special tool, press the wheel stud out of the rear hub between the caliper mounting pads.
- Discard the wheel stud. Do not reuse wheel studs.
