Wheel Studs: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the rear brake disc. For additional information, refer to REAR DISC BRAKE .
- Using the special tool, press the wheel stud out of the rear hub between the caliper mounting pads.
- Discard the wheel stud. Do not reuse wheel studs.
NOTE:
Cut off 1 inch of the stud to ease removal if necessary.
