Front Toe Adjustment

- Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
- Turn the engine off, and hold the steering wheel in the "straight forward" position using a suitable holding device.
- Loosen the tie-rod jam nuts and remove the steering gear bellows clamps.
- Rotate the front wheel spindle inner tie-rods.
- Tighten the tie-rod jam nuts. Install the steering gear bellows clamps.
- Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Start the engine and recenter the steering wheel.
NOTE:
Do not allow the steering gear bellows to twist when the front wheel spindle inner tie-rod is rotated.
- Recheck the toe settings and adjust if necessary.
