Removal and Installation

- Raise and support vehicle. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. For additional information, refer to WHEELS & TIRES article .
- Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
- Detach the sensor harness from the brake hose.
- Remove the bolts and position the caliper, pads and anchor plate aside.
- Remove the eight nuts, the hub extender and the brake disc.
- Remove the nuts, and the hub and bearing.
- If necessary, remove the bolt and the sensor.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
CAUTION:
Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can result.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the wheel hub and brake disc mounting surfaces are clean.
