Removal and Installation

  1. Release the 2 levers located at the lower outboard edges of the seat cushion, lift the cushion up and pull the cushion out.

  2. Remove the 2 third row backrest-to-floor nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
  3. Remove the 2 third row backrest-to-floor outer bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  4. Fold the third row seat backrest down and remove the rear load floor panel.
  5. Access the backrest to floor attachments.
    1. Release the trim fabric hook and loop fasteners.
    2. Remove the wheel jack storage cover.

  6. Remove the jack assembly.
  7. Remove the 2 outer load floor support panel bolts and the load floor support panel.
  8. Remove the 2 third row backrest-to-floor outer bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  9. Remove the 2 third row backrest-to-floor inner bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
  10. Remove the third row backrest.
  11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
