Removal and Installation

- Release the 2 levers located at the lower outboard edges of the seat cushion, lift the cushion up and pull the cushion out.
- Remove the 2 third row backrest-to-floor nuts.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Remove the 2 third row backrest-to-floor outer bolts.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Fold the third row seat backrest down and remove the rear load floor panel.
- Access the backrest to floor attachments.
- Release the trim fabric hook and loop fasteners.
- Remove the wheel jack storage cover.
- Remove the jack assembly.
- Remove the 2 outer load floor support panel bolts and the load floor support panel.
- Remove the 2 third row backrest-to-floor outer bolts.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Remove the 2 third row backrest-to-floor inner bolts.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Remove the third row backrest.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
