Removal and Installation

NOTE: When removing the 60 percent seat, the 40 percent seat must be removed first to gain access to the 60 percent seat riser-to-floor nuts and bolts.

    All seats 

  1. Remove the 2 rubber bolt caps.
  2. Remove the 2 front riser-to-floor nuts.
  3. With the seat in the normal sitting position lift the seat cushion up for access to the rear seat attachment fasteners.
  4. 40 percent seat 

  5. Remove the 2 rear riser-to-floor nuts.
  6. Remove the 2 middle riser-to-floor bolts.
  7. Remove the 40 percent seat from the vehicle.
  8. 60 percent seat 

  9. Remove the rear outboard riser-to-floor nut.
  10. Remove the 2 middle riser-to-floor nuts.
  11. Remove the rear inboard riser-to-floor bolt.
  12. NOTE: When removing and installing the 60 percent seat make sure the safety belt buckles are in the DOWN position.
  13. Remove the 60 percent seat from the vehicle.
  14. All seats 

  15. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  16. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
