Removal and Installation

NOTE: Explorer shown, Mountaineer similar.
  1. Remove the 6 rear quarter panel trim moulding pin-type retainers.

  2. Pull the rear quarter panel trim moulding outward to release the retaining clips.

  3. Remove the rear quarter panel trim moulding.
    4. NOTE: All retainer clips must be installed onto the rear quarter panel trim moulding before installation.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
